As if the latest makeup launches signed by some of the most appreciated makeup brands weren't enough to get us hyperventilating this fall! A new collab is causing our hearts to skip a beat as who can resist the temptation of having the best out of two of the most reputable names in the beauty and fashion industry: Shu Uemura and Karl Lagerfeld. Apparently, the two heavy-hitters have joined forces to create the 'Mon Shu Uemura' holiday 2012 makeup collection, which juxtaposes Karl Lagerfeld's unique artistic vision with Shu Uemura's innovative, high quality makeup formulas and pigments.
As expected, Shu Uemura and Karl Lagerfeld 'Mon Shu Uemura' makeup collection sparked a high dose of interest from the fans of both brands and the result was as artistic as everyone expected it to be. It seems that Mr. Lagerfeld couldn't resist the temptation of playing with the innovative pigments that Shu Uemura is known to masterfully blend as he confessed that:
“I design with Shu Uemura makeup because other manufacturers don't offer such beautiful colors.”
The collaboration resulted in a fabulous makeup collection which features a cool 'Mon Shu' cartoon character that displays a cute bobbed-haired girl wearing Karl Lagerfeld's signature black pants, black tie and white shirt ensemble.
