Emma Watson is the new face of Lancome's 'Rouge in Love' lipsticks. Even though the fabulous line will be launched only in February 2012, we now have the chance to take a peek at the campaign visuals featuring the lovely 21-year-old British actress.
Emma Watson has been named the new ambassador for Lancome's 'Rouge in Love' lipsticks. The lovely 21-year-old British actress, whose latest movie 'My Week with Marilyn' is thought to have Oscar potential, will star in the ad campaign for the brand's new makeup line. Only a few concept drawings have been released and we'll have to wait until 2012 to see the completed ads. As for the new collection of 24 fabulous, delicious shades, this will be available in stores by mid-February, next year.
According to a media preview of the products, the line features three "love moments" of the day: Jolis Matins, Boudoir Time and Tonight is My Night. The Jolis Matins category includes softer and lighter hues and contains tone-on-tone pearl particles for a fresh sheer effect. Boudoir Time contains more pigmented, fun and punchy shades. More dramatic and intense are the Tonight is My Night lipsticks with golden pearl particles for a more opaque result.
The light-weight lipsticks act just like a second skin with added shine and moisturization, while the nourishing repairing oils ensure hydration for up to six hours keeping lips soft and smooth.
Emma revealed some of her makeup preferences saying that, "When I was younger, I would go for a more natural lip. Now I like playing with different colors. This is just a beautiful thing to hold and own. It’s something that’s light enough to wear during the day and remake an impression at night."
The actress has already appeared in the ad for Lancome's Tresor Midnight Rose fragrance.
Speaking about this experience, Emma said that, "What I love about this story that we put together is that it's almost fate, like chance, that brings the two of them together… You never know what's going to be around the corner. That's what we wanted to get across in the fragrance: that life is magical with little surprises."
The former 'Harry Potter' star also revealed in Elle's October 2011 issue that she is not just a pretty face but she also got involved in developing the scent. "Lancome was taken aback by how much input I wanted to have. But I would never just put my name on something. It's more interesting to have a genuine involvement with a brand, rather than showing up on the day and looking pretty," the actress confessed.
