One Direction launches makeup line. Looks like the Our Moment fragrance that's set to launch soon was just a warm-up for the boy band. The teen heartthrobs teamed up with the British high-street cosmetics brand MUA for an affordable makeup line titled “Little Things”. It seems that nothing can stop the band that broke the VEVO Music Video Record for having “Best Song Ever” viewed over 10 million times in just 24 hours.
The new One Direction 'Little Things' makeup collection features lipsticks, cheek tints and even nail polishes. Harry, Louis, Zayn, Niall, and Liam might be unlikely experts on the matter, however, given the fact that they have already built a memorabilia empire, they definitely know what fans want. The products revolve around the boys' favorite tones and flavors.
The Little Things makeup collection consists of 5 lipsticks, 5 lip polishes, 3 Cheek Tints and 5 nail polishes. MUA promises that the 5 lip polish shades “smell good enough to eat”. Each of the products has a suggestive name that leaves no room for misunderstandings: Harry loves Strawberry, Zayn loves Watermelon, Louis loves Vanilla, Niall loves Cherry and Liam loves Blueberry.
The lipstick section of the new line is known as the Kiss You Lipstick range and features: Be Mine- classic red tone, Rock Me - a lovely lilac, I Wish- bright coral, I Want – bright pink and Moments - a soft pink.
The What Makes You Beautifully cheek tint range brings three covetable shades that match most skin tones: Coral Cutie, Pink Explosion and Rose Riot. Last but certainly not least, 5 trendy nail polish tones complete the new line. The band has chosen rich, vibrant tones that are perfect for fall. The One Direction MUA “Little Things” makeup line will be available starting with July 31 at Superdrug.com.
Believe it or not, that's not all 1D prepares for its fans. They are also working on another line, Office Max, a collection that features nail polishes in addition to school supplies and collectible items. While a portion of those proceeds will go to toward anti-bullying programs, there's no indication that the same is true for the MUA Little Things collection.
